| History of Our Company
Orris Schlabach started his construction company in 1979 (dba) Buckeye Buildings. The company built post frame type structures, chicken houses, garages and farm related buildings.
As the company grew, more of the buildings where for commercial use. With the demand growing for larger buildings, Buckeye Buildings built their first steel building in 1980. In just a few years the demand for steel buildings out paced post frame and the decision was made to switch to all pre-engineered steel buildings in 1993.
In 1996 the company incorporated under its current name Northeast Structural Systems.
For several years the company did general contracting work, self performing the erection work and subletting the balance of the work.
After building a relation with several general contractors, it was determined that the company's strength was in the erection field and no longer does the general contracting work.
The company has erected projects of all sizes in a number of states including the country of Jamaica.
The company has received several national awards for building of the year and volume.
Northeast Structural will supply the pre-engineered steel building and erection or erection services only if you have your own source for the building.
